DottedSign allows you to resend previously canceled signing tasks with the original field settings unchanged. This reduces the repetitive steps while enabling you to edit and initiate the signing process anew if needed.
You can resend eSignature requests to your signers remotely with one click when the task is in the following statuses under the Canceled section:
- Voided tasks
- Declined tasks
- Expired tasks
The following tutorial uses a “voided” task as an example:
- Go to the section where the task is located in the dashboard.
- Click on the task to enter the task view page.
- Click “More (···)” to expand the tab.
- Click on "Resend".
- Click "Continue". Once you’re done, click “Send” to kick off your signature request.
Note:
- Only the task owners can resend their tasks.
- Tasks that are self-signed, created via Front Desk mode and Public Form cannot be resent.
- Please ensure your current plan has sufficient task quota for use.
- When resending the task, the expiry date will be set to the original task setting. Please update it if necessary.
- This feature is currently available for DottedSign Web only.
