How to Arrange Fields Easily When Editing eSign Tasks?

When it comes to assigning one or multiple signing fields, you can follow the smart steps below to make the process faster. You can easily duplicate multiple fields by using the copy-and-paste keyboard shortcuts, drag and drop them on the same page, or cross-page freely.

Move Multiple Fields at Once

1. To move multiple fields simultaneously, either:
   • Use the Shift key to select fields one by one.
   • Use the Ctrl/Command key to select multiple fields at once.
2. Drag the selected fields to the desired position.

Duplicating Fields

If you wish to copy fields and paste them on the same page, please follow the steps below:

1. Select the fields you want to duplicate.

Note: You cannot select fields across pages.

2. Use keyboard shortcuts to copy and paste the fields. 

Note: 

1. If you copy the checkbox and radio button, the settings will revert to default values.
2. Radio button does not provide individual copying. To copy, select at least two radio buttons.

3. Move the fields to the desired position.

If you wish to copy fields and paste them on a different page, please follow the steps below:

1. Select the fields you want to duplicate.

Note: You cannot select fields across pages.

2. Use the keyboard shortcuts to copy and paste the fields on your desired page. The fields will appear in the top-left corner of the page by default. Please note that if you copy the checkbox and radio button, the settings will revert to default values.

Note: Radio button does not provide individual copying. To copy, select at least two radio buttons.

3. Move the fields to the desired position.

Moving Fields Across Pages

1. Select the fields you want to move across pages.
2. Drag and drop them to the next page.

Note:

1. Kindly note this feature is not available for the Checkbox and Radio Button.
2. Please avoid placing fields in the middle of the document canva.
