The Admin Console empowers you to manage your team efficiently. As a manager, you can easily assign permissions to team members, track task progress in real time, and enhance brand consistency by customizing your organization's logo and sender name for outgoing documents.
This is an advanced feature included in the Business and Enterprise plans. Once your purchase is complete, the Admin (payer) can begin managing team members through the Admin Console—including adding members, removing members, and adjusting member roles.

1. Accessing the KDAN Licensing Service Center from DottedSign
- After signing in to DottedSign, go to the Admin Console overview.
- Under “Overview” > “Team Members”, click “Manage Users” to enter the Licensing Service Center.
- In the sidebar, go to “Member Account Activation”.
- Click “License Management” to view the plan you purchased.
- Select the plan to open the “License Management Center”.
2. Adding Team Members (KDAN Licensing Service Center)
Add members manually
- Click "Assign License" to add a new team member.
- Enter the team member’s email address.
- Click "Confirm" to add the member.
- After the license is assigned, the member will receive an invitation email. The default role is "member".
- To change the role, you can make updates in the DottedSign Admin Console.
Bulk assign licenses
- Click "Volume Licensing".
- Download the template and fill in:
- Email of your team member

Role: Please follow the formatting rules below
- The "Role" field must be all lowercase.
- Enter "manager": the user will become a manager after activation.
- Enter "member": the user will become a member after activation.
- Incorrect values will default the user’s role to "member".
- Save the completed file as a CSV and upload it.
- Click "Confirm" to complete the bulk license assignment.
Note: Each email address can belong to only one team. If an email is already part of another team, the license assignment will fail.
3. Manage Licenses & Remove Team Members (KDAN Licensing Service Center)
Resend or Remove Licenses for a Member
- In the member list, click the “…” (More) icon next to the member.

Choose:
- Resend License
- Remove License (remove the team member)
Bulk Remove Members
- Select multiple members using the checkboxes.
- Click the trash bin icon.
- Click “Remove” to complete bulk removal.
Check User License Status
Use the filter on the right side to view “Active” or “Inactive” users
4. Changing Team Members’ Role (DottedSign Admin Console)
- Return to the DottedSign Admin Console.
- In the left menu, navigate to “Organization” > “Users”.
- Find the activated team member whose role you want to change.
- Use the dropdown menu next to their name to update the role (e.g., change from “member” to “manager”).
