When a document enters the checking stage, the system automatically switches to Checking Mode. You can verify critical fields (e.g., amounts or deadlines) and mark them as "Pass" or "Fail." If any field fails, simply provide a reason, and the document will be returned to the Signer for correction. Follow these steps to complete your checking process:
- The task that requires your review will be marked as “CHECK NEEDED”. Click to open the task.
- When in checking mode, Checkers can review fields using the following methods:
- Individual review: Review each field and attachment, and select “Pass” or “Fail”.
- Review in bulk:
- Check all at once: Use “Pass All” or “Fail All” at the top of the page.
- Process remaining fields: If some fields have already been reviewed, use “Pass the rest” or “Fail the rest” to review the remaining fields in bulk.
- Dismiss field status: Click “All Clear” to reset the status for all fields.
- Approved fields will be marked with a blue checkmark ✔, while rejected fields will be marked with a red icon 🚫.
- After reviewing all fields and attached files, click “Finish” to proceed to “Check Confirm”.
- If any fields are rejected, you can leave a message so the Signer can make the necessary revisions.
- Click “Confirm” to submit the check.
- Check Passed: The signing process will continue.
- Check Failed: The task will be returned to the signer, and all "Signature Fields" will be cleared for re-signing. All other fields will remain for the signer to correct.
Once the task is modified and resubmitted by the signer, you can then go into the task and review it again.
- When you enter a resubmitted check request from the Signer, you can see the previous return message in a pop-up window.
- Hover your mouse over a field to see whether the field has been modified. The status will be displayed as “Not modified by signer” or “Modified by signer”. Note: Signer may modify fields that were previously approved.
- Click "Complete" after verifying all data fields and signatures, then click "Confirm" to finish the checking process.
Note:
- If the sender has enabled the "Signer Final Confirmation" mechanism, the signer must give final approval after the check passes to officially complete the checking process.
- The "Checking mode" will close once the checker submits the task. To check again, please wait for the signer to resubmit the task.
- If you have both "Check" and "Sign" privileges, the system will prioritize opening Checking Mode. Once the check is submitted, the page will automatically switch to Signing Mode for you to sign.
