When you receive a signature request via email, you can easily sign the document using DottedSign. We offer multiple ways to create and use electronic signatures (eSignature), including personalized signatures, initials, stamps, and the company seal. Signing documents online only takes a few minutes!
How to Sign Documents via eSignature?
- Click the signature request link from the email. (If you are logged in DottedSign, go to the dashboard and open the document.)
- Click the signature field.
- Select “Create Signature”.

Draw to create an eSignature
- Directly draw your personalized signature in the assigned field.
- Click "Save".

Type to create an eSignature
- Click "Type" and enter your name in the field.
- DottedSign will generate an eSignature based on your input.
- Click "Save".

Use Mobile Panel to create an eSignature.

- Select the signature you just created, click “Apply”.
Note: If you are a DottedSign user, your newly created signature will be saved for future use. If you want to delete it, simply select the unwanted signature to delete it.
How to Sign Documents via Stamp?
- Click the signature request link from the email. (If you are logged in DottedSign, go to the dashboard and open the document.)
- Click the signature field.
- Select "Stamp".
- Select your desired stamp or upload a new one.
- Click “Apply”.
How to Sign Documents via Seal ?
- Click the signature request link from the email. (If you are logged in DottedSign, go to the dashboard and open the document.)
- Click the signature field.
- Select "Seal".
- Select your desired seal and click “Apply”.
